If you wanted to use a brand then you would have to contact the company, but there is always the chance that they will say no. you can also change the object in a way which could be classed as parodying it. this can be achieved by changing the shape, size, font and basically changing the meaning behind the object.

if your employed or employing someone then the copyright belongs to the employer
you can Assign the copyright vie a licensing agreement
Moral rights
you have the rights to Attribute the Author and you can assert your rights of an image and credit an image to yourself

the right to object to derogatory treatment its an automatic right
False attribution right
the right to not have someone else's work attributed or credited to you
